A beautiful location with exceptionally friendly staff. The room, a standalone cabaña, was clean for our arrival. The food made by the excellent cooks was absolutely delicious. The hotel land was very well kept with an adornment of friendly dogs, chickens, and other animals. I would recommend this place to anyone seeking a fabulous island experience.

Fuimos muy felices en Ubuntu. Llegamos por recomendación ya que buscábamos un eco hotel que estuviera acorde a respetar a las comunidades y a la naturaleza. Comimos muy rico, hicimos paseos increíbles y pasamos unos días muy tranquilos. Totalmente recomendado.

The place is run by a columbian lady which spent 5 years in new zealand. It is super nice, has 2 little beaches right in front and the service is super!

Great place which is environmentally friendly. The cabins are clean and have beautiful views of the water. The staff is very friendly and helpful speaking Spanish and English. The food at the restaurant is very-very good. Will stay there again!

Excellent eco hotel on Isla Grande of the Rosario Isles. If you’re looking a sustainable spot to stay on the Isles, Ubuntu is the right pick. We had a really good time relaxing here and using it as our base for snorkeling and diving around the islands. The staff are very attentive and helpful, offering recommendations and assisting with transport and coordination, in both English and Spanish. There are lots of hammocks to relax in, the restaurant is great, and the beach/waterfront area is nice (a bit small but big enough to enjoy). They also have a masseuse neighbour who can offer massages. There are a few stores and other restaurants close by too. The rooms have fans, bug nets, and nice large showers for after swimming. The rooms don’t have chargers for phones/devices but they have a dedicated charging point at the restaurant area. Would definitely visit again, 10/10!

Vi havde fornøjelsen at bo på Ubuntu Isla i tre nætter. Vi havde en hyggelig bungalow med udsigt ud til vandet. Stedet er yderst hyggeligt og afslappende. Selvom der er tale om et eco-hotel, så er det ikke noget man mærker på kvaliten af stedet (udover at der kun er koldt vand i bruserne, men det er også rart efter en dag i solen).Værelserne er rene, hyggelige og velindrettet. Stedet ligger godt, men direkte adgang til vandet og med liggestole ved vandkanten. Man kan leje maske og snorkel på hotellet og se flotte fisk allerede idet man hopper i vandet.Personalet er venlige og hjælpsomme. Ligeledes er maden meget god, særligt kan fisken anbefales!Vi kan kun anbefale Ubuntu!

Es un lugar que está por terminar, encuentras muchos escombros y material de construcción tirando por todo el lugar. El personal hace lo posible para que tu experiencia sea mejor pero la verdad al lugar le falta . El muelle no está terminado,no hay donde conectar un cargador de teléfono en las habitaciones, y en general todo se ve deteriorado . Animo por que el lugar tiene potencial.

Es un lugar muy tranquilo y familiar. Las cabañas tienen vista al mar y son muy cómodas. La comida es deliciosa y la atención de Carolina y Margarita excelente.
