Owls Watch Nature Retreat

An absolutely incredible place for birding. We arrived early to visit a variety of antpittas and were lucky enough to see a wide variety. We also saw lots of humming birds and tucans. It was absolutely incredible. The breakfast and to go lunch they packed was delicious and a healthy option after many traditional Colombian lunches!

Una maravillosa reserva natural en proceso que pronto recibirá público, ubicada en la Vereda Las Palomas de Manizales, en pleno parque Reserva de Río Claro. Apuesta por la reforestación de bosques, servicios amigables con el medio ambiente, observación de aves con excelentes torres de observación, comedores y libaderos y senderos por todo el lugar. Hay servicios de habitación en cabañas modernas y amigables, excelente comida y óptimos servicios. La vía de acceso es carretera le destapada por la misma vía de la vereda.

Un nuevo y excelente lugar para avistamiento de aves en Caldas. La atención, instalaciones y la comida son geniales.

Visitors from Canada the purpose of our stay in Colombia was to photograph birds. Our guide chose this place ( Owls Watch ) and it is a dream place for bird photography or just watching them.We had the opportunity to observe and photograph a variety of birds including hummingbirds and antpittas at close range. The lodge was absolutely incredible.The staff was really welcoming, the food was excellent and very good service. Truly a place worth visiting .
