Mercado Monserrate

I might not be reviewing the right place, but there is a Cafe Monserrate in this section of the complex that I ate at with friends. The names on Google Maps don't reflect exactly the name on the receipt I received. Either way, the food was good and worth a visit.

Pésimo Como colombiano me da pena que estén dando esta comida a los extranjeros visitantes pedimos un sancocho el Guiso no tenia sabor el pollo estaba negro, una sobre barriga durísima esto no es la comida auténtica colombiana que representa a colombia he ido a lugares más económicos y muy deliciosos.

Easily the worst meal I've been served in 2 years of living in Colombia. Almost all the food made me gag. The sancocho tasted like greasy chicken water with a few herbs and an entire yuca. Salt made it slightly better. The Chicken leg was yellow and had no trace of seasonings whatsoever. The meat was so dry I could barely take a nibble. The rice was edible and the arepa was magically delicious. Moving on to the corn none of us could stomach a bite. It's definitely not sweet corn and whatever they grow here tastes like big bites of dirt. The chorizos and steaks came out well but the sancocho was such a disaster I can't recommend anyone eats here. Walking through the much larger food hall you see many of the same products served the same way. Small parts of the dishes look appetizing such as the potatoes. I'm not quite sure why people line up here besides they are very hungry or they know exactly what to order and where. Don't recommend Monserrate on a Sunday unless you're buying the VIP tickets to skip the tram lines. While I appreciate aspects of the village much of it's far too touristy to feel authentic.

Fui a desayunar a este lugar, el precio de los platos es elevado para la calidad y el servicio que ofrecen (es autoservicio).La comida se demoro mas de media hora en ser preparada y servida lo cual es demasiado para unos caldos, huevos y bebidas y cuando por fin salio estaba fria y sin sal; pedi sal y me dijeron que NO TENIAN! , ante mi insistencia despues de varios minutos me trajeron sal de la cocina.

Pedí un churrasco y me dieron un cuarto de carne de cerdo, no recomiendo este lugar, el servicio es peor que pésimo, es perverso!
