I live in Miami, FL and I had my surgery at Colombia Care Hair transplant in Bogota, Colombia. Before I selected this clinic I spent a lot of time researching for the best clinic and doctors in the industry and my conclusion brought me to this clinic. The experience and outcome of my surgery turned out to be exactly, if not better than I expected. From the moment you walk in to your first visit; Dr. Juan Carlos Maldonado, Dr. Julian Duarte and all the nursing staff make you feel like you’re being treated by the best. The level of professional care and the high level of satisfaction from my results (which far exceeded my expectations) are the reason why I would highly recommend this clinic and why I gave them a perfect 5 star review. Very compassionate staff. They helped me through every step of the process, including transportation, the hotel, and the procedure itself. I was very nervous, and they explained every detail, answered all my questions and calmed me every step of the way. Doctor Duarte, Diego, Karen RN and the other assistants are all professional, and highly skilled. It was worth going to Bogota for the customer service experience I received and the 1:1 attention they provided. Even after the procedure I text Nicholas with questions and he answers me promptly. I doubt I would receive this much attention had I done the procedure elsewhere. I already referred a friend of mine.

Due to a constant high level of stress from my job, I had some thinning on my front and crown. A hair transplant was the only real permanent solution.I had carefully evaluated different procedures from FUT to Manual FUE to robotic. I evaluated different clinics all around the world. Turkey was an option, but it was a much further distance and there were numerous reports about serious and bad complications from botched transplants.Price wasn't a strong consideration, I was more concerned with transection rates (amount of hair damaged when being removed) and the skill of the surgeon.I settled on Colombia Care/Hero Robotics as being my first option.I was in Colombia and decided to go in for a consultation. All my questions were answered and I was at ease. I went forward.I had a Manuel FUE transplant in May 2021.Dr. Camilo Bernal Rodriguez performed the procedure.The facility was clean, hygienic and modern.The medical team was friendly, competent and professional.The managing partner, Nicholas, was helpful and responsive to my questions.I am currently happy with the results and care I received. The final say will be in 6 months to a year when the transplanted hair fully grows in.Aftercare is really important. The salesman sold more than they could physically do in one visit. I only received a little more than half what I paid for on my first time and then when I requested my medical record he became very defensive and disrespectful. The hair wasn’t done very well. I wouldn’t waste time with this company. Find someone more professional and courteous. Im looking for another company to do it the right way.After posting this the company threatened legal action instead of trying to rectify the problem. They attempt to intimidiate instead of resolving issues. Be careful.

I had my surgery at the clinic in Bogota and am happy to say that I've been 100% satisfied throughout the entire process. From first contact, inquiring about the process, Nicholas was very responsive, friendly, and quick to reply. The staff in Bogota was highly professional, while also conveying a sense of warmth and compassion--I knew that I was in good hands and that they were very careful and deliberate throughout the procedure. I highly recommend them; you will not be disappointed.
