No other company comes to close to the level of quality of Vaova. They truly are the greatest travel company out there. We just wrapped up an 8 day Spring Break trip with 180+ MBA students hosted by Vaova and I have nothing but high praise. Specifically due to their:1) Logistical expertise -- every single event was run so smoothly. We were provided transportation to and from each event, instructions for each event were clearly communicated multiple times prior to the event start and they were extremely flexible when unexpected circumstances arose. On the third day of our trip, a major Colombian airline ceased operations 12 hours before one of our domestic flights. While we were partying at an event, Vaova chartered a new flight solely to transport our entire group on time to our next destination. We did not see any of this happen behind the scenes and it was handled amazingly well. I cannot give Vaova enough praise for how they handled every single logistical detail of our trip.2) Local expertise -- all tour guides were local residents who exuded both positivity and hospitality and were able to provide a detailed background on every event or city that we visited. We visited three separate cities throughout Colombia and they rotated in new tour guides in each to provide us the most specific and detailed knowledge of each location. We had three tour guides throughout the entire trip who were incredible energy and made us feel at home through the entire experience (shoutout Carolina, Ana and Tomas!).3) Incredible personal attention - Every single question we had, whether it be about logistics or Colombian culture, was answered both quickly and comprehensively. They helped translate when necessary, facilitated event ticket transfers between travelers and even helped me recover my jacket I left behind at one of the hotels!Truly nothing but the highest praise for Vaova. I would return to Colombia just to work with Vaova again!

A company where organization, customer service, and safety come last.In their own words, you buy the package, and in the itinerary app they provide you, you are responsible for checking that it all matches with the package that you purchased. Almost like buying a ticket from an airline and then being responsible for making sure the ticket issued matches the one you bought.

This trip was incredible and will be a highlight of my MBA experience. Mobilizing 400 people around a country is incredibly difficult, but Vaova managed to make it feel seamless. Despite having repeated issues with Spirit Airlines and Viva Airlines ceasing operations the day before we were supposed to fly with them, our Vaova tour guides were constantly on top of things and went out of their way to make sure we got our lost luggage. They were also extremely knowledgeable about the country, incredibly fun, and showed us an amazing time in Colombia.

I love VAOVA! Caro, Tomas and Ana Maria were superstars and helped us along the way, including when an airline went bankrupt in the middle of our trip. They went above and beyond to help our large group acclimate and maximize our fun times. The small touches of local snacks, many laughs, and knowledgeable tour guides were what makes this company flow. They are there every step of the way. I would 10/10 recommend this trek and travel company to anyone visiting Colombia. We will miss them!!! <3
