My experience with Learn Spanish Now in Medellin was incredible! I am incredibly thankful to Paula for her efforts as a teacher, as I felt she was authentically invested in me as a student, and as a person and friend.I personally was a foreign language teacher for 3 years and have studied other languages before, so I'm picky about how I learn. Paula was considerate in how I wanted to approach our time together; everything was customized for me (most larger, corporate schools force their curriculum/approach/tempo on you). She's really, really a fantastic teacher! She has a wonderful demeanor, a great ability to read students and was always positive and energetic...our classes were usually the highlight of my day!As a full-time remote worker in Medellin, I didn't have time to commit 10+ hours/week in a Spanish class. Other schools I contacted had minimum hour requirements, set times of availability, etc. With Paula, we were able to create a schedule week by week that fit both of our schedules.If you are inquiring about Spanish classes/lessons in Medellin, you should absolutely contact Learn Spanish Now. I studied under Paula for five weeks and it was the best language experience I could have hoped for. Not only was Paula a patient, kind, and excellent teacher, but she was also our friend. She celebrated an American Thanksgiving with my friends and I while we lived in Medellín, took us on field trips, and introduced us to her friends. We have remained friends even after my class with her and I cannot recommend her enough for learning a new language.

I am so grateful to Paula for her support and patience whilst teaching me Spanish. She gave me the confidence to speak outside of the classroom which has helped me make new friends in Colombia and to enjoy the culture. Not only did she teach me grammar and vocabulary in an engaging way, but also I learnt the words used in everyday life in Medellín, keeping me safe and ensuring that I don't sound silly to the locals! Paula's ability to tailor her teaching style to my learning style made the classes so much more valuable and productive compared to ordinary classes. I cannot thank her enough for all her hard work, she's awesome!

When I was first learning Spanish at one of the large language schools in Medellin, I had taken lessons with multiple professors, and Paula was by far the best. She has a solid understanding of grammar rules, a large collection of teaching techniques, and a laid-back attitude that allows students of all levels to feel comfortable practicing with her. She has a natural teaching ability, and is probably one of the best language teachers in the city

I have thoroughly enjoyed my lessons at Learn Spanish Now. The teachers are wonderful and truly custom-make the classes to enhance your learning quickly. It is not just straight grammar. Instead, you learn alot about the culture and values of the people in Colombia. Truly a pleasure. I had the opportunity to have Paula as my teacher for a higher level Spanish class for one week in Colombia. The thing that struck me most about her is that her knowledge of the Spanish language far supersedes her native ability to speak it. She really knows the intricacies and every rule of the language. I also found Paula to be very easy to understand because she speaks very clearly. I would recommend Paula as a teacher for foreigners who really want to dig in to the Spanish language.

Astrid and Paula are the best! I studied with them in Colombia at a school where I also studied with 5 or 6 other teachers and they were my favorites. They know their material extremely well and teach it in a fun and engaging manner. It is never boring with them and most definitely time well spent. They are both very laid-back and patient, yet extremely hardworking. You would be crazy not to study with them!

Paula is a tremendous teacher. I was lucky enough to get Paula as a teacher when I was just beginning to study Spanish, and she did an excellent job of getting me ready to hold my own in conversations very quickly. I am extremely grateful for her patience and the time she took to make sure I truly understood a concept or idea well before piling on new material. Learning spanish can be a daunting undertaking, so I highly recommend having someone like Paula help you to take it on.
