As a former inmate, it was impossible to get in touch with my loved ones because of GTL's terrible service. In the days of robo calls, my loved ones automatically assumed GTL was some kind of scam call. In addition, I had about $20 left on the phone in DOC and from jail. Did I, or anyone get the left over money back? of course not!

These people are the worst parasitic predators a corrupt business can be. My bill continuously goes up in charges while my volume of calls to a family inmate goes down. I have requested an itemized bill of those charges which I was informed would be sent to me; months later, nothing. The call quality has gotten worse: delayed pauses between communication with my aunt, cut off audio continuously causing blank silence and inability to hear, static, and lately no warning before call is cut off.

This place should be shut down!! I cancelled minutes after signing up when I realized it was the wrong service and they sent me an email confirming cancellation and a couple days later sent me an email showing I was still active. They also did not refund me after they said it was in progress!!

These poor reviews on here are very true they are rip off they just take your money and can’t explain where it or how the problem can be resolved I have been dealing with an issue through them for the last month and still have no resolution it’s very disappointing!!!!
