Reserva La Rivera

José the owner of the farm invited me for the weekend to come to his farm.I was really impressed with this beautiful farm up in the mountains. He had Big vegetables and fruit garden and he told me next step ist o plant quinua and corn to be completely self-sufficient. I helped him to plant some trees around and we had a really good talk about how we can build a cleaner and better world for our next generation. Actually, I get my best campground in the whole of Colombia there.I have to the comeback of sure and see how is going the process on his Project.So if you in Colombia in Coffee region of Armenia I am highly recommended this finca.You can stay there a couple of days and learn more about native plants, going bird watching or just relax.

Es un lugar mágico...donde la cercanía con la naturaleza es total para lograr un gran descanso y desconectarse de toda la velocidad y estres que cargamos día a día, muchas veces sin darnos cuentaSu paisaje...las caminatas por los bosques nativos que rodean el lugar...las aves...el silencio...hacen este lugar, un lugar mágico y el más indicado para un nuevo inicio.Recomendado al 100 por ciento.

As far as I am concerned, coming to Colombia without visiting this family-run natural reserve is like visiting the Louvre without glimpsing the Mona Lisa. Reserva La Rivera is without a doubt a living work of art, from the immense and deep visual beauty, to the glorious gestalt of flavors within its edible forest and the salivating homemade Colombian treats made by Jose's mom and the cottage caretaker, to the sentiment and affection of the family, employees and volunteers dedicated to what I understood is a passion project to bring together the well-being of nature and man in one (sacred) space. A dream, a newColombia, a reminder of what is possible when the wisdom and grace of nature meets the creativity and love of man. Thank you.

Es un lugar ESPECTACULAR lleno de magia, la naturaleza se puede apreciar en todo su esplendor. Disfrutar el paisaje, el clima, los pájaros las flores ,las estrellas, las luciérnagas en la noche, las caminatas, la acampada, en fin una serie de cosas que hacen del sitio un lugar inolvidable,muy acogedora las personas que viven allá son atentas,sencillas y serviciales.

Un spot muy bueno para lograr fotos de diferentes especies de aves, en la noche se puede caminar y buscar diferentes especies de herpetos, lo cual hace de esta reserva un lugar muy bueno para visitar

En dos oportunidades he estado en la Rivera, aire puro, aves de mil colores y naturaleza en todo su esplendor hacen de todo esto una experiencia inolvidable y maravillosa. Sitios como este son dignos de frecuentar para reencontramos con nosotros mismos y el entorno, vayan y disfruten para regresar renovados y felices.

This Place is located in the heart or the Colombian Andes mountain range, very close to Salento and Armenia. It is surrounded by nature and overwhelming lanscapes. It offers several activities, such as bird watching, short to long hikes, and also relaxing along the many rivers you can find around.. It is also very special that this place is surrounded by natural reserves and a National Park, all of which forms a large continuum of preserved areas with an lots of biodiversity.. Totally recommended.

Este es uno de los lugares más mágicos y hermosos que he tenido la oportunidad de visitar. Sus instalaciones son bastante cómodas y limpias. Además, la amabilidad y atención de Don Marino y su familia hacen de este sitio el espacio perfecto para olvidarse del caos de la ciudad y conectarse con la naturaleza.¡Muy recomendado!
